Version comm-v1.0 Last updated 2026-08-29 Route /communication-preferences

01What this page covers

This page explains the types of communication Selfup sends, which are optional, and how to manage your preferences. It does not cover transactional messages (order confirmations, security alerts, account notifications) which are part of running the platform.

02Marketing communication

Marketing communication includes emails, SMS, WhatsApp messages, or phone calls about new courses, offers, events, and platform updates. This is optional and based on separate consent.

  • Marketing consent is never pre-selected during signup or checkout.
  • Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect your account, courses, purchases, or membership.
  • You can opt back in at any time.

03Service communication

Service communication includes order confirmations, payment receipts, security alerts, account notifications, course updates, and platform announcements essential to your use of Selfup. These are not optional and cannot be unsubscribed from while your account is active.

04How to update preferences

If you have a Selfup account, you can manage your communication preferences from your account settings under Privacy & Communication.

If you do not have an account or cannot log in, email privacy@selfupcommunity.com with your request.

05Unsubscribe from emails

Every marketing email from Selfup includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it will remove you from that email list. You can also email privacy@selfupcommunity.com to unsubscribe from all marketing communication.
