01Acceptance of terms

By creating a Selfup account, purchasing a course, package or membership, or submitting a form on the Selfup platform, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

02Eligibility and account creation

You must be eligible to enter into a contract and must confirm your age eligibility at signup. Accounts for under-age users are not created unless a legally approved parental or guardian consent process applies.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.

03User responsibilities

• Use the platform for your own learning and professional activity.
• Do not share account access or purchased content.
• Do not submit false, misleading, or plagiarised work as proof.
• Follow community rules in Arena, gigs, and mentorship interactions.

04Courses and learning access

Course access is granted to your account for the access period stated at purchase. Course content, curriculum, mentors, and delivery format may be updated or improved over time.

05Learning packages

Learning packages are one-time purchases that bundle courses and stated benefits. Access, benefits, refund eligibility, and support are subject to the applicable package terms and the Refund Policy.

06Membership

Membership is ₹99/month, billed quarterly or annually based on the billing cycle you select. Benefits, cancellation, and refund eligibility are covered by the Membership Policy and the Refund Policy.

07Gigs, Arena, competitions, and RP

Gigs, Arena tasks, and competitions are participation opportunities. Selection, client decisions, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

RP means Reward Points earned through verified activity. RP has no cash value on its own, and redemption follows the Selfup reward policy in force at the time.

08Mentorship

Mentorship provides guidance from practitioners. It does not guarantee jobs, internships, income, funding, or any specific outcome. Mentor availability and session formats may change.

09Career AI guidance disclaimer

Career AI provides guidance only. It does not guarantee jobs, internships, income, admission, or selection, and its output should not be treated as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. Verify important decisions independently.

10Jobs, internships, and opportunities disclaimer

Jobs, internships, and opportunities listed or shared on Selfup are opportunity discovery. Hiring decisions belong to the employer or client. Selfup does not guarantee hiring, interviews, stipends, or salaries, and users should verify any offer before engaging financially or professionally.

11Company hiring lead forms

Companies submitting hiring requirements confirm they are authorised to share the details provided and will use candidate information only for the stated hiring purpose.

12Payments

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees with applicable taxes indicated before payment. Payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway. A purchase is confirmed only when the gateway confirms a successful transaction.

13Refunds and cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy, and for membership additionally by the Membership Policy. Refund and cancellation terms are shown before payment at checkout.

14Prohibited conduct

• Reselling, redistributing, or recording paid content.
• Harassment, abuse, hate speech, or spam.
• Fraudulent payments, chargeback abuse, or fake proof.
• Attempting to breach platform security or scrape data.

15Intellectual property

Selfup content, brand, course material, and platform software remain the property of Selfup or its licensors. Access does not transfer ownership or grant a right to reuse content commercially.

16User-generated content and submissions

You keep ownership of work you submit. By submitting it to Selfup features such as gigs, Arena, or your profile, you grant Selfup a limited licence to host, display, and share it as needed to operate the feature you used it in.

17Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. Selfup does not guarantee employment, income, funding, or specific results; outcomes depend on individual effort, market conditions, and third-party decisions.

18Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Selfup's liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid to Selfup for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

19Account suspension and termination

Selfup may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, fraud, payment reversal abuse, or conduct that harms other users. You may close your account anytime from your account settings.

20Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Siliguri, West Bengal have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
